The steam locomotives of the 52 series are the best known of the so-called war locomotives of the Deutsche Reichsbahn. More than 7,000 examples were built from 1942, and up to 50 in 1943, some days. The BR 52 was more uniformly built and had fewer parts than its predecessors. It had to be produced as quickly as possible, with minimal materials and parts, and be able to withstand the extreme temperatures of a Russian winter. Originally designed for a maximum service life of 10 years, some machines were used for 50 years or more. The locomotive had a fully enclosed driver's cab (Norwegian stand) and a tank tender adapted to this series, with a capacity of 30 m3 of water and 10 tons of coal. Even after the Second World War, this locomotive was used in several countries. In the Federal Republic of Germany, it was no longer used on a regular schedule until 1989. Scale model with 2476 pieces, 1 figure, 5 straight guides of 13 cm (compatible with guides of other brands of interlocking bricks) and printed blocks. Model dimensions (L x W x H): 67 x 10 x 14 cm
