The Kawasaki Ki-61 'Hien' (French: swallow) was a mountain hunting of the Japanese imperial Air Force. Its construction presented strong similarities with the Bimotore Heinkel He 111 Standard bomber and with the Monomotor Hunt He 112 of the German Luftwaffe. The Japanese army acquired both types of planes from Germany and test them widely. The armament aboard the Hien (ally code name: Tony) included two 20 mm cannons, also German, and two MG-151 of the Mauser company. The Ki-61-I, the first of many other improved variants, joined the combat units in the summer of 1942 and was used occasionally as a huntbombardiere. It could transport the two 250 kg bombs under the wings. Scala model with 324 pieces, 1 statuette, printed blocks and mobile elements. Model dimensions (LXPXA): 29 x 38.5 x 11 cm
